We have already developed Standard treatment guide lines for the doctors in the state . Two editions have been disseminated across the state. This book developed by us can be used as reference material.it has really helped doctors in the state to have rational use of medicines as we are going for prescription audit in the state and state is providing free medicines to all attending govt. hospitals in the state.

An article published in an international Journal “Why doctors do not follow standard treatment guidelines” says more than 50% do not follow guidelines for varied reasons. (Even The senior most & the junior most) But this is a good sign, it must be standard guideline with flexibility for individual case
